Marine Robotics workshop 2016

European Robotics Forum, Workshop Digest

The goal is to discuss and formulate the point of view of the marine robotics community about the topics addressed by the ongoing call and further evolution. With this in mind, it will be organised as a round-table regarding the keywords of the ongoing calls. Short presentations will be given by some participants to trigger open discussion to formulate a report upgrading the Marine Robotics roadmap and relationships with market and application domains.

EMRA 2014

Workshop on EU funded Marine Robotics AND Applications

Researchers and users of marine robotic technology are invited to EMRA2014. The workshop shall summarize current EU FP7 marine robotics research, and provide a platform for marine stakeholders to share their current technological challenges. For researchers, EMRA2014 will offer dissemination opportunities for existing work, and highlight new application areas for consideration in future work. For marine research stakeholders, EMRA2014 will offer novel approaches to solve marine challenges, and a platform for directing future research threads.

Real Time Gesture Recognition Workshop 2014

Gesture Recognition for Human Robot Interaction

Gesture recognition is a very attractive research topic for large applications in robotics, human computer interaction, domotics, smart factory and so on. By using defined gestures it will be possible to allow quick triggering for man-machine interaction and lead to more open interoperability especially in hazardous situations or assisted living environments for elder/impaired people.
