ISSIA CNR – Palermo
Antonio Sauro was born in Gangi (Palermo, Italy) on July 17, 1978. In 1997, he graduated from high technical school “Vittorio Emanuele III” sited in Palermo. From 2000 to 2002 he worked at the Teicos Ltd. Networking Engineering sited in Pandino (Italy). In particular, his job based on the network transmission data with and without electromagnetic pollution environments. Furthermore, he was involved in other tasks such as Load Balancing, Software Protection and Server Applications.
From December 2002 to November 2008 he joined the Institute of Intelligent Systems for Automation (ISSIA) in Palermo. He works for the research project “Automazione della gestione intelligente della generazione distribuita di energia elettrica da fonti rinnovabili e non inquinanti e della domanda di energia elettrica, anche con riferimento alle compatibilità interne e ambientali, all’affidabilità e alla sicurezza- MIUR211”, funded by the Italian National Ministry of Research and University (MIUR). In particular, he performed electromagnetic compatibility measurement tests in a DC low power electric plant developed by ENEA and sited in The University of Palermo. He, also, assembled electronic circuits to implement the experimental test bench for the thesis project “Macromodellamento di dispositivi elettronici e valutazione della compatibilità elettromagnetica in sistemi intetrconnessi-Modelli parametrici e simulazione full-wave con schema computazionale FTTD”. Moreover, he collaborated in the international training course entitled “Techniques for the active compensation of electromagnetic emissions in electrical driver and distributed generation systems for renewable energy” at ISSIA-CNR in Palermo. Since December 2008 he is permanent staff of ISSIA-CNR in Palermo.
