ISSIA CNR – Bari
Massimiliano Nitti was born in Bari (Italy) on 1968. He received the degree in Computer Science from the University of Bari in 1996. From 1997 to 2000 he was employee at the Research Division of MerMec S.p.a. developing railway diagnostic systems. From 2000 to 2007 he joined the Institute of Intelligent Systems for Automation (I.S.S.I.A) in Bari working as technician. Since 2007 he works at ISSIA in Bari as a researcher. His main research activity is related to the development of prototypes in the context of computer vision and real time application using parallel and/or distributed processing. He is expert in computer architectures for emerging applications: SIMD and multi-threading.
